What is ASMR?

Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) describes the euphoric tingling sensation people feel in response to certain visuals and sounds.  The tingling often begins in the head, shoulders or spine before spreading to other areas of the body, ultimately creating a blissful sense of relaxation.   Very similar to the touches of grace we can experience during prayer or meditation.  Studies show that it helps develop social connection, emotional bonding and empathy. I love ASMR an think and think it is a wonderful way for us to reverse those conditioned defensive and competitive behaviour tendencies and learn how to interact in a more gentle, empathic way.  ASMR can help us  reconnect with what it means to be human.

ASMR can be a way of strengthening our sense of human connection through empathic presence and increased sensory awareness - a tool to help us feel calm, relaxed and at peace with ourselves  I have made a number of videos in this style - you can view my most recent uploads below.
